bexhuff Love the speed metal jazz! Kind of lost a bit on me, but its all about the notes you dont hear. Any recommendations? Genres? Artists? Im kinda new here, this place is just like bandcamp! Something something pussy... Favorite track: What's New?.

Peter Jones As a first studio recording, it's impressive. It's far from where Bob gets to, though - very "modern jazz" comfort zone stuff. That's not to say there's nothing inventive here and, certainly, the playing is great, too. Good listening. Favorite track: No Strings Attached.

spamakin Holy shit Hidden Agenda is a masterpiece. The intro section and the head of the tune is just amazing. That 7/8 bass line where the tempo kicks up in the beginning always gives me a boost of energy Favorite track: Hidden Agenda.

Sergio Bravo I love music and sound of the saxophone of this guy . The capacity of creating melodies and accuracy in execution show a remarkable maturity (and so young). All songs are awesome. It's so hard to make a choice ... Favorite track: Hidden Agenda.

about

This is my first studio album. I recorded it during my senior year of college.

I saved every dollar I had to record this and had only enough left over to press 100 physical copies (which mainly got sent out as "demos").

Very few people have heard this because I had no way to distribute it back then.

2 of the compositions on this album, "Hidden Agenda" and "Where Did You Come From?" won ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards.

DID YOU KNOW?: The drummer went on to play with Kanye West and Lady Gaga, the bass player with Mariah Carey, and the sax player with John Mayer. Also...some of the music on here is in the odd-meter of 13/4!

***There is also a bonus track included. Hint: it's live, it's from this decade...and it's slammin'!!***
